Introduction
Mother Studios opened in 2001. They were set up by and are run by artist Joanna Hughes. The project has been self funded and is ran on a not for profit organisation. There are 34 studios, all are self contained, have great light and have 24 hour access. Mother Exhibition and Project space opened in May 2004.
